MAC Mac Me Over: Stunner Blush

No comments:
Hi everyone,
I've been pretty busy lately with school starting again and stuff, but this is going to be the last part of the Mac Me Over series. The last thing i will post about this collection is the Stunner Blush. Now after my first puchase i did go back to MAC to get some more of this collection and i also bought the Evil eye eye shadow quad and another lipstick in Secret Lover. These wont be included in the series cause you probably saw enough of this collection by now :)

So lets move on :)
Stunner
Stunner is described as a 'light coral pink' with a satin finish. To me the blush looks a little more pink than coral and is very light. Tough it's a light colored blush the pigmentation is great and this has become one of my favorite blushes from MAC.
Here's a swatch:

Better late than never :)

Nail of the Day: Nail art

No comments:
Hi everyone,
Another nail of the day for you guys :) I know it's been a while since i've done one but my nail colors haven't really been special lately. Up until now! :)
I've been experimenting with nail art recently and this is what i've come up with.
I was supposed to be a Cheeta print, but that kinda failed.. Guess i need more practice, tips are welcome ;) haha. I do quite like what it looks like. I think i looks a little like flowers? Anyway, I used Mermaids Tears from OPI as a base color, then randomly put messy dots on my nails using Dating a Royal, also OPI? Next i used a small pointed nail art brush and Catrice's Nero polish, which is a normal black, to create messy lines around the dots.

What do you think, should i do more nail art NOTD's?
Love.

Hi everyone,
This is going to be the second post in the Mac Me Over collection series. A little late but some of you might still be interested? Right? :)

One of the eye shadows i got is Moleskin. This eye shadow is described as a nude brown. Moleskin is one of the five new limited edition eye shadows that have come out with this collection. The sixst one, Satin Taupe, is permanent. But also a must-have!

Hi everyone,
I know i've been MIA lately but i'm back now :)
Last saturday, a new limited collection from MAC came out in Belgium and of course i had to be there to see it. Haha :)
I bought a couple of things and it would be too much for just one blog post so i'm going to do a mini series on this collection. Something to look forward to? :)
More products will come later..
The first of this mini series are going to be about the liglass and lipstick i bought. Now i think i might actually go back and get some more, but for now this is it.

Holiday Haul: Venice!

No comments:
Ciao again! :)
I'm still in Italy on my holiday and last Friday my family and I went to Venice together.
Venice is such a beautiful city and must definetly be added on to your Places-to-visit List! Must See! And of course besides the beautiful architecture, the canals and the gondolas, there's also some shopping to be done. Most of the stores are really expensive, but still there's something for everyone.

Walking to the small, gorgeous streets we came across a make up store, KIKO.
This is an Italian make up brand, and the store had really a lot to see :)
These are the things I got:

Since my lips are very sensitive and it is very hot here in Italy, I needed something with spf to protect them. As soon as I walked in I found what I needed.
I also picked up three eye shadows :) each of them costed only €3.00, as they were on sale. They were all labeled with numbers, and these ar the ones I got in order of apearence 129, 15, 157.

Here are some swatches for you guys:

I know the lightest color (the first one) is hard to see on my arm, but it's there. This is the best I could do, on the eye lid it looks a lot better though, I've tried it on :)

The quality is nice and I really like the colors I picked out!
You'll hear from me soon!!

Love.

Holiday Message :)

No comments:
Ciao a tutti, Hi everyone,
I'm really sorry for not doing some posts lately but i'm on my summer holiday in Italy and I haven't really been able to take the time to sit down and write for the last couple of days.
I've really been enjoying the sun, the beach and just laying around and getting tanned :) Oh yeah! After working a whole month I kinda needed this sunny vacation and it's already been amazing :)

As for the rest of the days.. Tomorrow me and my familly will be enjoying a day of Wellness and we'll be going to Venice as well some day soon. I'll be sure to make some beautiful pictures and share them with you all in my upcoming blog posts :)

You'll here more from me soon! :)

Upcoming MAC Collection: MAC Me Over!

No comments:
Hi everyone,
Eventhough I already blogged about an other collection that will be coming out, there is one that is coming out earlier.. Shame on me!
MAC Me Over, the collection that we'll be seeing in the stores soon is one of the largest collections I've ever seen since I bought my first MAC product.
To make it easy for us to choose what we'll be getting this collection will contain 51 products.. Easy, no? NOT!

Take a look at the collection and you'll realise that you'll want it all.. My wallet already knows what to expect, haha..

There will be something for everyone, from more neutral looks to more daring ones.
Have a look for yourself :)

This collection will launch in North America August 25, 2011. Internationally it will be launched during the month of September.
The exact launch date for Belgium is September 3, 2011.

I know I'll be at the store when this collection launches! All of these products look amazing, don't you think?

Photos are from here

Are you as excited for this collection as I am? Which of these products are calling you?

Love.

Upcoming M.A.C Collection: Colourization

No comments:
Hi everyone,

Today's blog post is going to be all about the next upcoming collection from MAC.
This collection is already available in the U.S., but since I live in Belgium I'm not able to get my hands on the collection yet. The exact release date isn't available either so I won't be able to tell you when exactly you should rush to the stores.. Bummer..

Nevertheless I can give you a little sneak peek on what the collection will actually look like :) Yhaaay!

" COURIZATIONS Double Feature Shadow Compacts in eight daring pairings that combine shades in sophisticatedly unexpacted ways, while Technakohl Liner ads drama. Plus: two set ready Brushes."

Colourization will contain 8 double eye shadow palettes, 6 Technakohl liners, a zoom lash mascara and 2 brushes.
These are the eye shadow palettes:
Double Feature 1: Bright yellow gold (Veluxe Pearl) + Pink-up chrome purple (Frost)
Double Feature 2: Bright lime (Veluxe Pearl) + Frosty deep grey (Frost)
Double Feature 3: Midtone Teal (Matte) + Deep chocolate (Satin)
Double Feature 4: Deep forest green (Veluxe pearl) + Midtone ochre brown (Satin)
Double Feature 5: Pale frosty peach (Frost) + Dark brown with green pearl (frost)
Double Feature 6: Light grey taupe (Frost) + Midtone bronze (Veluxe Pear)
Double Feature 7: Bright fuschia (Frost) + Cool black (Frost)
Double Feature 8:Midtone orange (Frost) + Deep navy (Satin)

The palettes cost $25.00 each, but I don't know what the European prices will be yet.

The combinations look dead gorgeous in my opinion. some are more daring then others, which means there's something for everyone :) One thing though that I don't like about this collection is that the eye shadows don't have actual names.. Say what? Nope.. They don't, so no cool names like all the other eye shadows have. Well, most of them have :)
Other then that this collection seems to be pretty amazing and also very handy for people who travel a lot because of the size of the compact.

The Technakohl liners come in green, blue, purple, khaki, brown and black shades. And the two brushes will be a medium angled shading brush (275) and a tapered blending brush (222).
The Technakohl liners cost $15.00 each , again European prices not yet available.. The brushes are sold for $24.50 (275) and $30.00 (222).

I'll be rushing to the store when this collection comes out. Will you ?

Love.
