Nail of the day: Meet Me At Coral Island

I'm in love with bright colors right now! Me needs summer! Fast!
Today the sun came out to show here pretty face again so I decided to paint my nails in a bright pinky coral :)

I feel like it's summer already. Well, spring at least .. Or almost.. Who's keeping track? :) Don't you just love this color? Yeah well.. Me too! :) I'm wearing Meet Me At Coral Island from Catrice.

Bourjois Healty Balance: Unifying Powder

Hi everyone,
Lately, I've been trying out this new powder just to unify my skintone. I don't use foundation that much because i do feel pretty confident about my skin eventhough I do get breakouts as well. But since I have a lot of freckles it just looks really unnatural whenever i try to use foundation. I will use a MAC Studio Fix powder in the shade NW25 which works for the most part of the year. But lately I've really gotten a lot paler and the Studio Fix powder is just a little to dark.

So I was on the market for a new face powder and saw that Bourjois came out with a small line called healthy balance. It contains a foundation, the powder and a concealer.

I decided to try the Bourjois Healthy Balance unifying powder :) and I have to say it's amazing! I've been wearing it every single day and it just makes my skin look so much more radiant and glowy. I wear the shade 53 Light Beige (beige clair).

The powder also uses Asian fruit therapy. Sharon fruit for hydrating and Yuzu fruit for anti-shine. It doens't clog your pores either and is supposed to give you a matte finish and boosted radiance that lasts up to 10hours. I've fallen in love :)

MAC Iris Apfel: Party Parrot

Hi everyone,

As I promised here's the second lipstick I got my hands on from the Iris Apfel collection.
Party Parrot is a bright red-pink. This is a matte lipstick, which i'm not really a fan of but it looks amazing with a little clear lipgloss on top :)

Hi everyone,

Last week the Iris Apfel collection came to Belgium and some of the lipsticks sold out within hours. Since the collection is only available in pro stores and there's only one of those in Belgium they went fast! I  to get the ones I wanted and ended up getting the 2 last ones that were left. Yay!


I haven't been too excited about the latest MAC collections but this was one that made me go to Antwerp to get the lipsticks the day the collection came out. I had heard a lot about them on the internet and since they sold out on the mac website really really fast, I knew they wouldn't last long in the one pro store we have here.

Urban Decay: 15th Anniversary Palette!

Finally I got my hands on the 15th Anniversary Palette from Urban decay! Yay :)
I had been wanting this palette for quite a while now, I even considered ordering it online but it was always sold out.. I wonder why?! A week ago I went to Breda, in The Netherlands and found this gorgeous palette in sephora! You can only guess how excited I was :)

Since there are no sephora stores in Belgium yet, please, pretty please bring them to Belgium?, I had to go look for it abroad.
