NYX: Slide on,Glide on eye liners

The NYX Slide on, glide on, stay on & definitely a turn on, water proof, extreme shine eye liner. There, the name is a real mouthful but NYX says that the just had to be that long, cause the eyeliner is just that good. I'm not going to go into detail about that, cause i haven't tested them long enough yet. More on that soon! But since did recently buy them I though I would share already :)

Lipstick can totally transform your look in my opinion. When only wearing some mascara and blush a little lipstick can spice up your look any time. I didn't used to be a huge lipstick fan, I love playing up my eyes - eye shadow girl all the way - but I'm a convert.. From time to time I like to play up my lips too change things up a bit. To do that I love to use dark lipsticks! They give an extra special look and some even make your teeth look whiter. Bonus! This recent addition to my lipstick collection is really pretty during this time of year. Dark Side by MAC is a more sheer burgundy/wine shade.

I love me some nail polish. The options are endless. Neutrals, brights, reds, neons, glitters, ... . Nail polishes come in all forms and shapes these days. A few weeks ago I came across the Essie Luxeffects. Described on Essie's website as over-the-top glitter nail polish coats. Thinking they were limited edition I snatched A Cut Above immediately. To my delight, I found out afterwards that they are permanent. Whoop. At the time, my best friend was with me and couldn't resist either. A few days ago I saw her nails and fell in love! She used a pale pink as a base and used the glitter on the tips to make a gradient effect. Swoon.

TheBalm: FRATBOY

You knew it was coming, I kinda forgot to post it. But have no fear, the post is here. 

Here's my review of the FRATBOY blush/eye shadow from TheBalm. This pretty blush has stood on my wishlist for quite some time. Until ..., TheBalm came to Belgium. Some time ago I was able to take a look at the collection they're offering here in Belgium and of course I couldn't leave empty handed. This first product I brought home, you all saw some blog posts ago. Today the blush is up for review. 

The FRATBOY blush is a pretty pinky, coral blush with great pigmentation. It has a very subtle gold shimmer and a pearly sheen when applied. FRATBOY can be used both as a blush and eye shadow. The texture is extremely soft and silky. You can apply the blush as sheer or as bold as you like. Also, the color won't fade away very fast. It lasted all day on me.

This blush looks especially great during summer in the sun, but I think it works great all year round.

Glitter nail polishes are beautiful all year round. But when Christmas is around the corner glitter nail polish can take your outfit to another level. Recently Maybelline has come out with a some new nail polishes in the Color Show range: Brocades. 

The Body Shop: Vanilla Bliss and Linen Spritz

I love me some good smelling products. Especially when they smell like vanilla, nothing smells better to me than perfume or body products that have vanilla in them. This Christmas season The Body Shop came out with three limited edition sents. Cranberry Joy, Ginger Sparkle and Vanilla Bliss. Normally, I'm not a big fan of The Body Shop. I think their products are kind of expensive and the sents they have in their permanent line never really swept me off my feet.
