Paris Skincare Haul: City Pharma

Whenever you're in Paris, a visit to one of the many French pharmacies is a must. Even for a girl living in Belgium, right next door to France, the product are a lot cheaper in France than the are here. So of course a visit to a pharmacy was necessary. When in Paris, I recommend going to the City Pharma in Rue du Four 26. This is one of the biggest pharmacies and probably the cheapest as well. This pharmacy is known for their cheap prices by the locals as well as beauty lovers from all around the world. With that being said, you'll have to keep in mind that this pharmacy is crowded pretty much all week long, yes even on week days. It makes it harder to walk through the aisles but the prices make it worth it for me. Because of the large amount of people going in and out of this store some of the things I wanted to get were out of stock. Nevertheless I brought some of my favorite product home with me and some new as well. Here we go.

Lipstick can totally transform your look in my opinion. When only wearing some mascara and blush a little lipstick can spice up your look any time. I didn't used to be a huge lipstick fan, I love playing up my eyes - eye shadow girl all the way - but I'm a convert.. From time to time I like to play up my lips too change things up a bit. To do that I love to use dark lipsticks! They give an extra special look and some even make your teeth look whiter. Bonus! This recent addition to my lipstick collection is really pretty during this time of year. Dark Side by MAC is a more sheer burgundy/wine shade.

I love me some nail polish. The options are endless. Neutrals, brights, reds, neons, glitters, ... . Nail polishes come in all forms and shapes these days. A few weeks ago I came across the Essie Luxeffects. Described on Essie's website as over-the-top glitter nail polish coats. Thinking they were limited edition I snatched A Cut Above immediately. To my delight, I found out afterwards that they are permanent. Whoop. At the time, my best friend was with me and couldn't resist either. A few days ago I saw her nails and fell in love! She used a pale pink as a base and used the glitter on the tips to make a gradient effect. Swoon.
